8:37 “The time will come when the land suffers from a famine, a plague, blight and disease, or a locust ¹  invasion, or when their enemy lays siege to the cities of the land, ²  or when some other type of plague or epidemic occurs.

1 Kings 22:10

22:10 Now the king of Israel and King Jehoshaphat of Judah were sitting on their respective thrones, ³  dressed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria. ⁴  All the prophets were prophesying before them.

[8:37]  ¹ tn Actually two Hebrew terms appear here, both of which are usually taken as referring to locusts. Perhaps different stages of growth or different varieties are in view.
