8:64 That day the king consecrated the middle of the courtyard that is in front of the Lord’s temple. He offered there burnt sacrifices, grain offerings, and the fat from the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that stood before the Lord was too small to hold all these offerings. 1

Rehoboam’s Reign over Judah

14:21 Now Rehoboam son of Solomon ruled in Judah. He 2  was forty-one years old when he became king and he ruled for seventeen years in Jerusalem, 3  the city the Lord chose from all the tribes of Israel to be his home. 4  His mother was an Ammonite woman 5  named Naamah.
