22:48 Jehoshaphat built a fleet of large merchant ships ²  to travel to Ophir for gold, but they never made the voyage because they were shipwrecked in Ezion Geber.

[9:26]  ¹ tn Or “a fleet” (in which case “ships” would be implied).

[22:48]  ² tn Heb “a fleet of Tarshish [ships].” This probably refers to large ships either made in or capable of traveling to the distant western port of Tarshish.
