1 Samuel 25:33

25:33 Praised be your good judgment! May you yourself be rewarded ¹  for having prevented me this day from shedding blood and taking matters into my own hands!

1 Samuel 26:23

26:23 The Lord rewards each man for his integrity and loyalty. ²  Even though today the Lord delivered you into my hand, I was not willing to extend my hand against the Lord’s chosen one.
