6:18 The gold mice corresponded in number to all the Philistine cities of the five leaders, from the fortified cities to hamlet villages, to greater Abel, ¹  where they positioned the ark of the Lord until this very day in the field of Joshua who was from Beth Shemesh.

10:25 Then Samuel talked to the people about how the kingship would work. ²  He wrote it all down on a scroll and set it before the Lord. Then Samuel sent all the people away to their homes.

[10:25]  ² tn Heb “the regulation of the kingship.” This probably refers to the regulations pertaining to kingship given to Moses (see Deut 17:14-20).
