[7:6]  1 tn Heb “said.”

[7:6]  2 tn Heb “judged”; NAB “began to judge”; TEV “settled disputes among.”

[19:24]  3 tn Heb “and he fell down.”

[20:34]  5 tn Heb “for he was upset concerning David for his father had humiliated him.” The referent of the pronoun “him” is not entirely clear, but the phrase “concerning David” suggests that it refers to David, rather than Jonathan.

[22:22]  7 tc The translation follows the LXX, which reads “I am guilty,” rather than the MT, which has “I have turned.”

[28:20]  9 tn Heb “also there was no strength in him.”

[28:20]  10 tn Heb “food.”

[30:1]  11 tn The Hebrew text adds “with fire.”

[30:12]  13 tn Heb “his spirit returned to him.”
