9:3 The donkeys of Saul’s father Kish wandered off, ¹  so Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go ²  look for the donkeys.” ³ 

1 Samuel 16:20

16:20 So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a container of wine, and a young goat ⁴  and sent them to Saul with ⁵  his son David.

1 Samuel 18:26

18:26 So his servants told David these things and David agreed ⁶  to become the king’s son-in-law. Now the specified time had not yet expired ⁷
