9:7 So Saul said to his servant, “All right, ¹  we can go. But what can we bring the man, since the food in our bags is used up? We have no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?”

1 Samuel 12:14

12:14 If you fear the Lord, serving him and obeying him ²  and not rebelling against what he says, ³  and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the Lord your God, all will be well. ⁴
