The Lord Gives Solomon Wisdom

1:1 Solomon son of David solidified his royal authority, ¹  for ²  the Lord his God was with him and magnified him greatly.

2 Chronicles 11:11-12

11:11 He fortified these cities and placed officers in them, as well as storehouses of food, olive oil, and wine. 11:12 In each city there were shields and spears; he strongly fortified them. ³  Judah and Benjamin belonged to him.

2 Chronicles 15:7

15:7 But as for you, be strong and don’t get discouraged, ⁴  for your work will be rewarded.” ⁵

25:3 When he had secured control of the kingdom, ⁶  he executed the servants who had assassinated his father. ⁷
