Solomon’s Wealth

1:14 Solomon accumulated 1  chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem. 2

8:6 and built up Baalath, all the storage cities that belonged to him, 3  and all the cities where chariots and horses were kept. 4  He built whatever he wanted in Jerusalem, 5  Lebanon, and throughout his entire kingdom. 6 

2 Chronicles 18:30-31

Context
18:30 Now the king of Syria had ordered his chariot commanders, “Do not fight common soldiers or high ranking officers; 7  fight only the king of Israel!” 18:31 When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “He must be the king of Israel!” So they turned and attacked him, but Jehoshaphat cried out. The Lord helped him; God lured them away from him.
