1:17 They paid 600 silver pieces for each chariot from Egypt, and 150 silver pieces for each horse. They also sold chariots and horses to all the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Syria. ¹

Uzziah’s Reign

26:1 All the people of Judah took Uzziah, ¹¹  who was sixteen years old, and made him king in his father Amaziah’s place.

28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. ¹⁴  He did not do what pleased the Lord, in contrast to his ancestor David. ¹⁵
