2 Chronicles 1:9

1:9 Now, Lord God, may your promise ¹  to my father David be realized, ²  for you have made me king over a great nation as numerous as the dust of the earth.

2 Chronicles 6:15

6:15 You have kept your word to your servant, my father David; ³  this very day you have fulfilled what you promised. ⁴

7:17 You must serve me as your father David did. Do everything I commanded and obey my rules and regulations. ⁵

10:6 King Rehoboam consulted with the older advisers who had served ⁶  his father Solomon when he had been alive. He asked them, ⁷  “How do you advise me to answer these people?”
