[13:8]  1 tn Heb “the kingdom of the Lord by the hand of the sons of David.”

[13:8]  2 tn Or “horde”; or “multitude.”

[20:15]  3 tn Heb “all Judah.” The words “you people of” are supplied in the translation for clarity. The Hebrew text uses the name “Judah” by metonymy for the people of Judah. Unlike the previous instance in v. 13 where infants, wives, and children are mentioned separately, this reference appears to include them all.

[20:15]  4 tn Or perhaps “don’t get discouraged.”

[25:14]  5 tn Heb “sons.”

[25:14]  6 tn Heb “caused them to stand for him as gods.”
