Context14:1 (13:23) 1 Abijah passed away 2 and was buried in the City of David. 3 His son Asa replaced him as king. During his reign 4 the land had rest for ten years.

Context16:14 He was buried in the tomb he had carved out in the City of David. 5 They laid him to rest on a bier covered with spices and assorted mixtures of ointments. They made a huge bonfire to honor him. 6

Context22:9 He looked for Ahaziah, who was captured while hiding in Samaria. 7 They brought him to Jehu and then executed him. They did give him a burial, for they reasoned, 8 “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with his whole heart.” There was no one in Ahaziah’s family strong enough to rule in his place. 9

Context26:23 Uzziah passed away 10 and was buried near his ancestors 11 in a cemetery 12 belonging to the kings. (This was because he had a skin disease.) 13 His son Jotham replaced him as king.
2 Chronicles 32:33
Context32:33 Hezekiah passed away 14 and was buried on the ascent of the tombs of the descendants of David. All the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem buried him with great honor. 15 His son Manasseh replaced him as king.
2 Chronicles 35:24
Context35:24 So his servants took him out of the chariot, put him in another chariot that he owned, and brought him to Jerusalem, 16 where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors; 17 all the people of Judah and Jerusalem mourned Josiah.
