Asa’s Religious and Military Accomplishments

14:2 (14:1) Asa did what the Lord his God desired and approved. ¹ 

2 Chronicles 25:2

25:2 He did what the Lord approved, ²  but not with wholehearted devotion. ³ 

[14:2]  ¹ tn Heb “and Asa did the good and the right in the eyes of the Lord his God.”

[25:2]  ² tn Heb “he did what was proper in the eyes of the Lord.”

[25:2]  ³ tn Heb “a complete heart.”
