14:2 (14:1) Asa did what the Lord his God desired and approved. ¹ 

2 Chronicles 25:2

25:2 He did what the Lord approved, ²  but not with wholehearted devotion. ³

20:32 He followed in his father Asa’s footsteps and was careful to do what the Lord approved. ⁴

Ahaz’s Reign

28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. ¹³  He did not do what pleased the Lord, in contrast to his ancestor David. ¹⁴

29:34 But there were not enough priests to skin all the animals, ¹⁵  so their brothers, the Levites, helped them until the work was finished and the priests could consecrate themselves. (The Levites had been more conscientious about consecrating themselves than the priests.) ¹⁶
