[15:17]  1 tn Heb “yet the heart of Asa was complete all his days.”

[32:12]  2 tn Heb “Did not he, Hezekiah, eliminate…?” This rhetorical question presupposes a positive reply (“yes, he did”) and so has been translated here as a positive statement.

[32:12]  3 tn Heb “his”; the referent (the Lord) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[32:1]  4 tn Heb “and he said to break into them for himself.”

[22:1]  6 tn Heb “for all the older [ones] the raiding party that came with the Arabs to the camp had killed.”

[22:2]  7 tc Heb “forty-two,” but the parallel passage in 2 Kgs 8:26 reads “twenty-two” along with some mss of the LXX and the Syriac.

[22:2]  8 tn The Hebrew term בַּת (bat, “daughter”) can refer, as here, to a granddaughter. See HALOT 165-66 s.v. I בַּת 1.

[15:4]  9 tn Heb “and he allowed himself to be found by them.”
