Jehoshaphat Appoints Judges

19:4 Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem. ¹  He went out among the people from Beer Sheba to the hill country of Ephraim and encouraged them to follow ²  the Lord God of their ancestors. ³

Joash’s Reign

24:1 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign. He reigned for forty years in Jerusalem. ⁴  His mother was Zibiah, who was from Beer Sheba.

2 Chronicles 30:5

30:5 So they sent an edict ⁵  throughout Israel from Beer Sheba to Dan, summoning the people ⁶  to come and observe a Passover for the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem, for they had not observed it on a nationwide scale as prescribed in the law. ⁷
