The Building of the Temple

3:1 Solomon began building the Lord’s temple in Jerusalem 2  on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to his father David. This was the place that David prepared at the threshing floor of Ornan 3  the Jebusite.

2 Chronicles 7:10

Context
7:10 On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, Solomon 4  sent the people home. They left 5  happy and contented 6  because of the good the Lord had done for David, Solomon, and his people Israel.

2 Chronicles 21:7

21:7 But the Lord was unwilling to destroy David’s dynasty 7  because of the promise 8  he had made to give David a perpetual dynasty. 9
