Context21:17 They attacked Judah and swept through it. 1 They carried off everything they found in the royal palace, 2 including his sons and wives. None of his sons was left, except for his youngest, Ahaziah.

This royal edict read: 4 “O Israelites, return to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so he may return 5 to you who have been spared from the kings of Assyria. 6

Context34:21 “Go, seek an oracle from 7 the Lord for me and those who remain in Israel and Judah. Find out about 8 the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the Lord’s fury has been ignited against us, 9 because our ancestors 10 have not obeyed the word of the Lord by doing all that this scroll instructs!” 11
