Ahaziah’s Reign

22:1 The residents of Jerusalem 1  made his youngest son Ahaziah king in his place, for the raiding party that invaded the city with the Arabs had killed all the older sons. 2  So Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.

2 Chronicles 25:9

Context
25:9 Amaziah asked the prophet: 3  “But what should I do about the hundred talents of silver I paid the Israelite troops?” The prophet 4  replied, “The Lord is capable of giving you more than that.”

2 Chronicles 25:13

Context
25:13 Now the troops Amaziah had dismissed and had not allowed to fight in the battle 5  raided 6  the cities of Judah from Samaria 7  to Beth Horon. They killed 8  3,000 people and carried off a large amount of plunder.

26:11 Uzziah had an army of skilled warriors trained for battle. They were organized by divisions according to the muster rolls made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer under the authority of Hananiah, a royal official.
