Context
24:24 Even though the invading Syrian army was relatively weak, the Lord handed over to them Judah’s very large army, 1  for the people of Judah 2  had abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors. The Syrians 3  gave Joash what he deserved. 4

30:22 Hezekiah expressed his appreciation to all the Levites, 5  who demonstrated great skill in serving the Lord. 6  They feasted for the seven days of the festival, 7  and were making peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord God of their ancestors.

Context
34:33 Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the areas belonging to the Israelites and encouraged 8  all who were in Israel to worship the Lord their God. Throughout the rest of his reign 9  they did not turn aside from following the Lord God of their ancestors.
