2 Chronicles 25:20

25:20 But Amaziah did not heed the warning, ¹  for God wanted to hand them over to Joash because they followed the gods of Edom. ² 

2 Chronicles 34:17

34:17 They melted down the silver in the Lord’s temple ³  and handed it over to the supervisors of the construction foremen.”

[25:20]  ² tn Heb “because it was from God in order to give them into the hand because they sought the gods of Edom.”

[34:17]  ³ tn Heb “that was found in the house of the Lord.”
