2 Chronicles 26:16

26:16 But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. ¹  He disobeyed ²  the Lord his God. He entered the Lord’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.

2 Chronicles 26:19

26:19 Uzziah, who had an incense censer in his hand, became angry. While he was ranting and raving ³  at the priests, a skin disease ⁴  appeared on his forehead right there in front of the priests in the Lord’s temple near the incense altar.

2 Chronicles 29:7

29:7 They closed the doors of the temple porch and put out the lamps; they did not offer incense or burnt sacrifices in the sanctuary of the God of Israel.

2 Chronicles 2:4

2:4 Look, I am ready to build a temple to honor ⁵  the Lord my God and to dedicate it to him in order to burn fragrant incense before him, to set out the bread that is regularly displayed, ⁶  and to offer burnt sacrifices each morning and evening, and on Sabbaths, new moon festivals, and at other times appointed by the Lord our God. This is something Israel must do on a permanent basis. ⁷ 

2 Chronicles 13:11

13:11 They offer burnt sacrifices to the Lord every morning and every evening, along with fragrant incense. They arrange the Bread of the Presence on a ritually clean table and light the lamps on the gold lampstand every evening. Certainly ⁸  we are observing the Lord our God’s regulations, but you have rejected him.
