2 Chronicles 26:6-7

Context

26:6 Uzziah attacked 1  the Philistines and broke down the walls of Gath, Jabneh, and Ashdod. He built cities in the region of Ashdod and throughout Philistine territory. 2  26:7 God helped him in his campaigns 3  against the Philistines, the Arabs living in Gur Baal, and the Meunites.

Psalms 106:42-43

Context

106:42 Their enemies oppressed them;

they were subject to their authority. 4 

106:43 Many times he delivered 5  them,

but they had a rebellious attitude, 6 

and degraded themselves 7  by their sin.
