2 Chronicles 34:22

34:22 So Hilkiah and the others sent by the king ¹  went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, ²  the supervisor of the wardrobe. ³  (She lived in Jerusalem in the Mishneh ⁴  district.) They stated their business, ⁵

22:11 So Jehoshabeath, ⁶  the daughter of King Jehoram, ⁷  took Ahaziah’s son Joash and sneaked him away ⁸  from the rest of the royal descendants who were to be executed. She hid him and his nurse in the room where the bed covers were stored. So Jehoshabeath the daughter of King Jehoram, wife of Jehoiada the priest and sister of Ahaziah, hid him from Athaliah so she could not execute him.

[34:22]  ² tn The parallel account in 2 Kgs 22:14 has the variant spelling “son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas.”

[34:22]  ³ tn Heb “the keeper of the clothes.”
