5:6 Now King Solomon and all the Israelites who had assembled with him went on ahead of the ark and sacrificed more sheep and cattle than could be counted or numbered. ¹ 

2 Chronicles 11:16

11:16 Those among all the Israelite tribes who were determined to worship the Lord God of Israel followed them to Jerusalem ²  to sacrifice to the Lord God of their ancestors. ³

33:22 He did evil in the sight of ⁷  the Lord, just like his father Manasseh had done. He offered sacrifices to all the idols his father Manasseh had made, and worshiped ⁸  them.

[15:11]  ⁴ tn The Hebrew term צֹאן (tso’n) denotes smaller livestock in general; depending on context it can refer to sheep only or goats only, but their is nothing in the immediate context here to specify one or the other.

[33:16]  ⁴ tn Heb “told Judah.” The words “the people of” are supplied in the translation for clarity. The Hebrew text uses the name “Judah” here by metonymy for the people of Judah.

[33:22]  ⁵ tn Heb “in the eyes of.”
