Context6:16 Now, O Lord God of Israel, keep the promise you made to your servant, my father David, when you said, ‘You will never fail to have a successor ruling before me on the throne of Israel, 1 provided that your descendants watch their step and obey my law as you have done.’ 2

Context30:6 Messengers 3 delivered the letters from the king and his officials throughout Israel and Judah.
This royal edict read: 4 “O Israelites, return to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so he may return 5 to you who have been spared from the kings of Assyria. 6
2 Chronicles 34:27
Context34:27 ‘You displayed a sensitive spirit 7 and humbled yourself before God when you heard his words concerning this place and its residents. You humbled yourself before me, tore your clothes and wept before me, and I have heard you,’ says the Lord.
