6:38 When they return to you with all their heart and being ¹  in the land where they are held prisoner and direct their prayers toward the land you gave to their ancestors, your chosen city, and the temple I built for your honor, ² 

2 Chronicles 20:9

20:9 ‘If disaster comes on us in the form of military attack, ³  judgment, plague, or famine, we will stand in front of this temple before you, for you are present in this temple. ⁴  We will cry out to you for help in our distress, so that you will ⁵  hear and deliver us.’

2 Chronicles 34:4

34:4 He ordered the altars of the Baals to be torn down, ⁶  and broke the incense altars that were above them. He smashed the Asherah poles, idols and images, crushed them up and sprinkled the dust over the tombs of those who had sacrificed to them.
