6:5 He told David, ¹  ‘Since the day I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I have not chosen a city from all the tribes of Israel to build a temple in which to live. ²  Nor did I choose a man as leader of my people Israel.

35:20 After Josiah had done all this for the temple, ⁹  King Necho of Egypt marched up to do battle at Carchemish on the Euphrates River. ¹⁰  Josiah marched out to oppose him.

36:4 The king of Egypt made Jehoahaz’s ¹¹  brother Eliakim king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. Necho seized his brother Jehoahaz and took him to Egypt.
