2 Chronicles 7:18

7:18 Then I will establish your dynasty, ¹  just as I promised your father David, ‘You will not fail to have a successor ruling over Israel.’ ² 

2 Chronicles 13:5

13:5 Don’t you realize that the Lord God of Israel has given David and his dynasty lasting dominion over Israel by a formal agreement? ³ 

[7:18]  ¹ tn Heb “I will establish the throne of your kingdom.”

[7:18]  ² tn Heb “there will not be cut off from you a man ruling over Israel.”

[13:5]  ³ tn Heb “Do you not know that the Lord God of Israel has given kingship to David over Israel permanently, to him and to his sons [by] a covenant of salt?”
