2 Chronicles 7:3

Context
7:3 When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the Lord’s splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, 1  “Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!”

2 Chronicles 22:9

Context
22:9 He looked for Ahaziah, who was captured while hiding in Samaria. 2  They brought him to Jehu and then executed him. They did give him a burial, for they reasoned, 3  “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with his whole heart.” There was no one in Ahaziah’s family strong enough to rule in his place. 4
