2 Chronicles 8:14

8:14 As his father David had decreed, Solomon ¹  appointed the divisions of the priests to do their assigned tasks, the Levitical orders to lead worship and help the priests with their daily tasks, ²  and the divisions of the gatekeepers to serve at their assigned gates. ³  This was what David the man of God had ordered. ⁴ 

2 Chronicles 24:12

24:12 The king and Jehoiada gave it to the construction foremen ⁵  assigned to the Lord’s temple. They hired carpenters and craftsmen to repair the Lord’s temple, as well as those skilled in working with iron and bronze to restore the Lord’s temple.

31:2 Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and Levites to do their assigned tasks ⁶  – to offer burnt sacrifices and present offerings and to serve, give thanks, and offer praise in the gates of the Lord’s sanctuary. ⁷ 

2 Chronicles 35:15

35:15 The musicians, the descendants of Asaph, manned their posts, as prescribed by David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s prophet. ⁸  The guards at the various gates did not need to leave their posts, for their fellow Levites made preparations for them.
