9:20 All of King Solomon’s cups were made of gold, and all the household items in the Palace of the Lebanon Forest were made of pure gold. There were no silver items, for silver was not considered very valuable in Solomon’s time. ¹ 

2 Chronicles 14:1

14:1 (13:23) ²  Abijah passed away ³  and was buried in the City of David. ⁴  His son Asa replaced him as king. During his reign ⁵  the land had rest for ten years.

2 Chronicles 32:26

32:26 But then Hezekiah and the residents of Jerusalem humbled themselves and abandoned their pride, and the Lord was not angry with them for the rest of Hezekiah’s reign. ⁶ 

[9:20]  ¹ tn Heb “there was no silver, it was not regarded as anything in the days of Solomon.”

[14:1]  ² sn Beginning with 14:1, the verse numbers through 14:15 in the English Bible differ from the verse numbers in the Hebrew text (BHS), with 14:1 ET = 13:23 HT, 14:2 ET = 14:1 HT, 14:3 ET = 14:2 HT, etc., through 14:15 ET = 14:14 HT. Beginning with 15:1 the verse numbers in the ET and HT are again the same.

[32:26]  ³ tn Heb “and Hezekiah humbled himself in the height of his heart, he and the residents of Jerusalem, and the anger of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.”
