Solomon’s Reign Ends

9:29 The rest of the events of Solomon’s reign, from start to finish, are recorded ¹  in the Annals of Nathan the Prophet, the Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and the Vision of Iddo the Seer pertaining to Jeroboam son of Nebat.

2 Chronicles 19:2

19:2 the prophet ²  Jehu son of Hanani confronted him; ³  he said to King Jehoshaphat, “Is it right to help the wicked and be an ally of those who oppose the Lord? ⁴  Because you have done this the Lord is angry with you! ⁵

29:25 King Hezekiah ⁶  stationed the Levites in the Lord’s temple with cymbals and stringed instruments, just as David, Gad the king’s prophet, ⁷  and Nathan the prophet had ordered. (The Lord had actually given these orders through his prophets.)

2 Chronicles 35:15

35:15 The musicians, the descendants of Asaph, manned their posts, as prescribed by David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s prophet. ¹⁰  The guards at the various gates did not need to leave their posts, for their fellow Levites made preparations for them.
