Context11:9 When 1 I was with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia fully supplied my needs. 2 I 3 kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Context12:9 But 4 he said to me, “My grace is enough 5 for you, for my 6 power is made perfect 7 in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly 8 about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in 9 me.

[11:9] 2 tn If the participle ἐλθόντες (elqonte") is taken as temporal rather than adjectival, the translation would be, “for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, fully supplied my needs” (similar to NASB).

[12:9] 4 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “but” because of the contrast implicit in the context.
