2 Corinthians 4:10

4:10 always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, ¹  so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible ²  in our body.

2 Corinthians 5:6

5:6 Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth ³  we are absent from the Lord –

12:3 And I know that this man (whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows)

2 Corinthians 12:2

12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows) was caught up to the third heaven.

[4:10]  ¹ tn The first clause of 2 Cor 4:10 is elliptical and apparently refers to the fact that Paul was constantly in danger of dying in the same way Jesus died (by violence at least). According to L&N 23.99 it could be translated, “at all times we live in the constant threat of being killed as Jesus was.”

[4:10]  ² tn Or “may also be revealed.”

[5:6]  ³ tn Grk “we know that being at home in the body”; an idiom for being alive (L&N 23.91).
