2 Kings 12:18

Context
12:18 King Jehoash of Judah collected all the sacred items that his ancestors Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, kings of Judah, had consecrated, as well as his own sacred items and all the gold that could be found in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. He sent it all 1  to King Hazael of Syria, who then withdrew 2  from Jerusalem.

20:13 Hezekiah welcomed 3  them and showed them his whole storehouse, with its silver, gold, spices, and high quality olive oil, as well as his armory and everything in his treasuries. Hezekiah showed them everything in his palace and in his whole kingdom. 4

[12:18]  2 tn Heb “went up.”

[20:13]  3 tc Heb “listened to.” Some Hebrew mss, as well as the LXX, Syriac, and Vulgate versions agree with the parallel passage in Isa 39:2 and read, “was happy with.”

[20:13]  4 tn Heb “there was nothing which Hezekiah did not show them in his house and in all his kingdom.”
