[18:29]  ¹ tc The MT has “his hand,” but this is due to graphic confusion of vav (ו) and yod (י). The translation reads “my hand,” along with many medieval Hebrew mss, the LXX, Syriac Peshitta, Targum, and Vulgate.

[5:20]  ² tn Heb “said” (i.e., to himself).

[5:20]  ³ tn Heb “Look, my master spared this Syrian Naaman by not taking from his hand what he brought.”
