21:18 Manasseh passed away ¹  and was buried in his palace garden, the garden of Uzzah, and his son Amon replaced him as king.

2 Kings 22:2

22:2 He did what the Lord approved ²  and followed in his ancestor David’s footsteps; ³  he did not deviate to the right or the left.

[21:18]  ¹ tn Heb “lay down with his fathers.”

[22:2]  ² tn Heb “he did what was proper in the eyes of the Lord.”

[22:2]  ³ tn Heb “and walked in all the way of David his father.”
