2 Kings 3:17

3:17 for this is what the Lord says, ‘You will not feel ¹  any wind or see any rain, but this valley will be full of water and you and your cattle and animals will drink.’

2 Kings 6:22-23

6:22 He replied, “Do not strike them down! You did not capture them with your sword or bow, so what gives you the right to strike them down? ²  Give them some food and water, so they can eat and drink and then go back to their master.” 6:23 So he threw a big banquet ³  for them and they ate and drank. Then he sent them back ⁴  to their master. After that no Syrian raiding parties again invaded the land of Israel.

2 Kings 9:34

9:34 He went inside and had a meal. ⁵  Then he said, “Dispose of this accursed woman’s corpse. Bury her, for after all, she was a king’s daughter.” ⁶

[6:22]  ² tn Heb “Are [they] ones you captured with your sword or your bow (that) you can strike (them) down?”

[6:23]  ³ tn Or “held a great feast.”

[6:23]  ⁴ tn Heb “they went back.”

[9:34]  ⁴ tn Heb “and he went and ate and drank.”

[9:34]  ⁵ tn Heb “Attend to this accursed woman and bury her for she was the daughter of a king.”
