23:1 The king summoned all the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem. ⁴ 

[9:23]  ¹ tn Heb “and Jehoram turned his hands and fled.” The phrase “turned his hands” refers to how he would have pulled on the reins in order to make his horses turn around.

[9:23]  ² tn Heb “Deceit, Ahaziah.”

[10:20]  ³ tn Heb “set apart”; or “observe as holy.”

[23:1]  ⁵ tn Heb “and the king sent and all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem gathered to him.”
