10:6 When the Ammonites realized that David was disgusted with them, ¹  they ²  sent and hired 20,000 foot soldiers from Aram Beth Rehob and Aram Zobah, ³  in addition to 1,000 men from the king of Maacah and 12,000 men from Ish-tob. ⁴

But you ⁹  are like ten thousand of us! So it is better if you remain in the city for support.”

19:35 I am presently eighty years old. Am I able to discern good and bad? Can I ¹⁰  taste what I eat and drink? Am I still able to hear the voices of male and female singers? Why should I ¹¹  continue to be a burden to my lord the king?
