[14:27]  2 tc The LXX adds here the following words: “And she became a wife to Rehoboam the son of Solomon and bore to him Abia.”

[11:2]  3 tn Heb “on the roof of the house of the king.” So also in vv. 8, 9.

[11:2]  4 tn The disjunctive clause highlights this observation and builds the tension of the story.

[23:21]  5 tc The translation follows the Qere and many medieval Hebrew mss in reading אִישׁ (’ish, “man”) rather than the Kethib of the MT, אֲשֶׁר (’asher, “who”).
