2 Samuel 19:20

19:20 For I, your servant, ⁴  know that I sinned, and I have come today as the first of all the house of Joseph to come down to meet my lord the king.”

[11:16]  ¹ tn Heb “the valiant men.” This refers in context to the strongest or most valiant defenders of the city Joab and the Israelite army were besieging, so the present translation uses “the best enemy soldiers” for clarity.

[14:22]  ¹ tn Heb “blessed.”

[14:22]  ² tc The present translation reads with the Qere “your” rather than the MT “his.”

[19:20]  ¹ tn The Hebrew text has simply “your servant.”
