[1:1]  ³ tn Grk “for the promise…” or possibly “in accordance with the promise…”

[1:18]  ⁴ sn That day is a reference to the day when Onesiphorus (v. 16) stands before Christ to give account for his service (cf. v. 12; 1 Cor 3:13; 2 Cor 5:9-10).
