12:12 When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

Acts 19:25

19:25 He gathered ³  these ⁴  together, along with the workmen in similar trades, ⁵  and said, “Men, you know that our prosperity ⁶  comes from this business.

[12:12]  ¹ tn Grk “he”; the referent (Peter) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[12:12]  ² tn Grk “John who was also called Mark.”

[19:25]  ³ tn Grk “gathering.” The participle συναθροίσας (sunaqroisa") has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.

[19:25]  ⁴ tn Grk “whom”; because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, the relative pronoun (“whom”) has been replaced with a pronoun (“these”) and a new sentence begun in the translation.
