Acts 26:27
Context26:27 Do you believe the prophets, 3 King Agrippa? 4 I know that you believe.”
Acts 24:14
Context24:14 But I confess this to you, that I worship 5 the God of our ancestors 6 according to the Way (which they call a sect), believing everything that is according to the law 7 and that is written in the prophets.

[13:40] 1 sn The speech closes with a warning, “Watch out,” that also stresses culpability.
[26:27] 3 sn “Do you believe the prophets?” Note how Paul made the issue believing the OT prophets and God’s promise which God fulfilled in Christ. He was pushing King Agrippa toward a decision not for or against Paul’s guilt of any crime, but concerning Paul’s message.
[26:27] 4 sn See the note on King Agrippa in 25:13.
[24:14] 6 tn Or “forefathers”; Grk “fathers.”
[24:14] 7 sn That is, the law of Moses. Paul was claiming that he legitimately worshiped the God of Israel. He was arguing that this amounted to a religious dispute rather than a political one, so that the Roman authorities need not concern themselves with it.
