Paul Travels Through Macedonia and Greece

20:1 After the disturbance had ended, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging ¹  them and saying farewell, ²  he left to go to Macedonia. ³

24:18 which I was doing when they found me in the temple, ritually purified, ⁴  without a crowd or a disturbance. ⁵ 

Acts 21:34

21:34 But some in the crowd shouted one thing, and others something else, ⁶  and when the commanding officer ⁷  was unable ⁸  to find out the truth ⁹  because of the disturbance, ¹⁰  he ordered Paul ¹¹  to be brought into the barracks. ¹²

[24:18]  ⁴ sn Ritually purified. Paul’s claim here is that he was honoring the holiness of God by being sensitive to issues of ritual purity. Not only was he not guilty of the charges against him, but he was thoroughly devout.
