Acts 22:11

22:11 Since I could not see because of ¹  the brilliance ²  of that light, I came to Damascus led by the hand of ³  those who were with me.

Acts 7:2

7:2 So he replied, ⁴  “Brothers and fathers, listen to me. The God of glory appeared to our forefather ⁵  Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran,

[22:11]  ³ tn Grk “by” (ὑπό, Jupo), but this would be too awkward in English following the previous “by.”

[7:2]  ⁵ tn Or “ancestor”; Grk “father.”
